The client required assistance with their role pages, specifically in creating SEO-friendly copy.
Virgin Atlantic is one of Britain’s biggest major international airlines.
I updated several pages in key sections across the site (such as roles, location pages, and culture pages), ensuring they adhered to both SEO and web best practice.
A primary goal was to broaden the talent pool for traditionally male-dominated roles. For example, the client needed a more engaging pilot page to appeal to both men and women. I achieved this by incorporating inclusive imagery, enriching the content with more detailed information, and sharing stories from a diverse range of employees.
Another focus was the cabin crew division which historically attracted more women. To address this, I diversified the cabin crew role page, such as featuring the story of a male cabin crew member. I also optimised the page for search engines to reach a broader audience.
